IWATA exhibits at Kyoto Material Yard as part of the circular economy initiative.
In conjunction with this, an "SDG's Campaign" will be held to coincide with "GLOBAL GOAL DAY."
We will be giving away RENMEN® towels made with a circular economy to 10 lucky winners.

About the event exhibit
Iwata Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting waste materials (fabric scraps, down scraps, and donkorosu (hemp packing cloth)) generated during our manufacturing process at "Kyoto Material Yard" to be held at Kyoto Art Center on September 21st and 22nd. This is part of IWATA's commitment to a circular economy.
Amidst concerns about global resource shortages and environmental destruction, Iwata aims to promote the effective utilization of valuable resources and contribute to the protection of the global environment. For the future of people and the environment, we are committed to sustainable manufacturing, considering what we can do now. We believe that extending the lifespan of products, reusing them, reducing unusable waste, and safely disposing of them are important roles in manufacturing.

SDGs Giveaway Campaign
September 25th is "GLOBAL GOALS DAY," the day the SDGs were adopted.
To coincide with this day, as part of IWATA's commitment to a circular economy, we will be giving away sets of environmentally friendly "IWATA RENMEN®️" bath towels and face towels to 10 lucky customers who follow IWATA's official Instagram.
We use yarn spun from fabric scraps generated during the bedding production process for the weft threads.
This initiative contributes to the effective use of resources and reduction of waste.
Of course, IWATA has not forgotten its commitment to quality. By using a special twisted yarn technology that creates air gaps between the threads in the pile, the towels have enhanced absorbency. They are quick-drying and boast excellent durability with minimal shedding.
These towels are the result of various innovations and meticulous attention to detail from the yarn stage to the finished product.
